Aaron Jabaay
Aaron Jabaay is an Associate Attorney at Breeding Carter, working primarily in the firm’s Construction and Criminal law groups. He joins Breeding Carter with criminal, administrative, and civil practice experience from Alaska.
Aaron was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska, where his father, an ironworker, and brothers worked in the construction industry. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, near his wife’s hometown, and completed law school at Regent University School of Law in Viriginia Beach.
Aaron clerked for the late Honorable Craig F. Stowers, Superior Court Judge (and Supreme Court Chief Justice) in Anchorage and then took on the role of a criminal prosecutor for the Municipality of Anchorage and the State of Alaska. He represented the Alaska Office of Children’s Services in child abuse or neglect prosecutions and administrative appeals and worked for the Alaska Medicaid Fraud Control Unit before moving into private general practice.
After moving to Tennessee, Aaron represented criminal defendants in Blount County and worked with TennCare on eligibility appeals.
Aaron is licensed to practice law in Alaska and Tennessee. He is active in his church, and attends and supports as many athletic, theater, and dance events as his wife and their three children can schedule.
