Allison James Starnes-Anglea
Allison Starnes-Anglea was born in Knoxville, Tennessee and attended high school in Brentwood, Tennessee. Allison attended Rollins College, a small school in Winter Park, Florida. While in college, she studied Anthropology and Communication and participated on the Rollins College Swim Team.
While in law school at the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in Memphis, Tennessee, Allison volunteered with Memphis Area Legal Services and served on the Moot Court Board. She was also a member of the Association for Women Attorneys and served as Historian for Phi Alpha Delta. Based on her efforts to serve the Memphis community while in law school, she was awarded the Dean Rodney K. Smith Pro Bono Service Award in 2009.
Upon her admission to the bar, Allison returned to Knoxville, Tennessee. She enjoys spending time with her family, and is a member of the Knoxville and Tennessee bar associations.
